Airport Road
Airport Road is, as its name suggests, the road that leads to the Ikeja International airport. In Lagos State, there are two airports: international and local airports. Residential communities like Ajao Estate, Aviation Estate, Mafoluku, etc. are connected by the airport road. Due to the efficient road system, traffic near the airport road is somewhat fair.
Along the airport road in Ikeja, you can see some famous structures, including the Air Force Base and the FAAN headquarters. Due to frequent traveler use of the airport, the neighborhood has a large concentration of hotels. IBIS Royal Hotel, Golden Tulip, and Lagos Airport Hotel are the most well-known among them. Notable schools like Air Force Secondary School and MMA Secondary School are also located in the vicinity of Airport Road. Ikeja City Mall and the Lagos State Secretariat are two notable landmarks in this area.
Adeniyi Jones
Adeniyi Jones is a mix of residential and business districts in Ikeja. It is primarily commercial, though. The majority of the residential neighborhoods of Adeniyi Jones are streets away from the main road, despite the fact that most of the major roadways are not nearby.
At Adeniyi Jones, the road is excellent, the drainage is well-kept, and there are plenty of street lights and traffic signals. Alausa

Allen
Ikeja’s Allen neighborhood is primarily commercial, with streets lined with a variety of small and medium-sized businesses, corporations, and banks. In Allen, there are a lot of newsstands. Allen has a sizable residential area. The two most common forms of public transportation in Allen for those who are unable to move around independently are tricycles (known locally as Keke Napep) and commercial buses. Its length is approximately 1.36 kilometers. The efficient road system in Allen makes commuting to nearby communities like Opebi and Adeniyi Jones easier.
Ikeja GRA
The elites of the Lagos Mainland are said to live in Ikeja GRA. With a few government buildings and other enterprises, it is mostly residential. It is a tranquil and quiet setting. Here, you can see bungalows, detached homes, duplexes, and serviced apartments.
Ikeja GRA was originally intended to be entirely a residential neighborhood, but since then, commercial activity has taken over the neighborhood, especially along Joel Ogunnaike and Isaac John. However, several neighborhoods in Ikeja GRA, including as Oduduwa Crescent, Herbert Macaulay Crescent, Rev. Ogunbiyi, and Fani-Kayode Streets, still retain their residential qualities. For those who are immobile, kekes (tricycles) and bicycles are the main modes of transportation.
Ikeja GRA is not a gated neighborhood, but there is a high level of protection because armed guards and security staff are on hand to maintain a calm environment.
Opebi
Ikeja’s Opebi neighborhood is primarily residential with businesses along the main Opebi road. Areas like Allen, Oregun, Ojota, and Ikeja GRA are on each side of it. The Kudirat Abiola Way and Opebi are connected via a bridge. Opebi is a tiny, calm, and peaceful place. You might encounter little or no traffic on weekdays.
Opebi Ikeja has a variety of streets, including Ajanaku Street, Oshodi Deyin Street, and Omodara Street. Here is also where the well-known Kudirat Abiola Way is located. Awuse Estate is only one of the many estates in Opebi.
